The 2023 14 Hole Golf Season will soon be upon us at our new home, Wildwood Country Club. This year we experienced tremendous change this off season. Not only are we playing a different course, we are also switching to Monday nights.
For our new members, the league has a designated website at www.14holegolf.com. This provides all of our league information including standings, how to do scoring, league information, weekly schedules and a list of subs in case someone is unable to play a specific week. Please take a few minutes to go over this and familiarize yourself if you’re new to the league. If at any time you are not receiving information via email or website updates please let me know ASAP.
If you are unable to play and will miss league play, please go to the website and under Contact Me, please send me an email outlining what day and what player will not be playing. Additionally I will need to know who will be subbing or if you need help finding a sub, let me know and I will do my best to find you someone. We would need to receive this information no later than 12:00pm on Monday.
Walker Hines our new Website manager has been working to update the website and get everything converted for the new course.
Scorecards will be provided each week for each match. Each team will receive their own scorecards. It is your responsibility to keep your own score and then compare scorecards at the end of the round and turn them into myself no later than 8:45 each night.
For the new members, I will be available to assist you with your scorecards at the end of each round if needed. Please go to League Info and click on Scoring Instructions for a deep dive into the scoring process. You will have a provisional handicap for your first three rounds. After that you will have an established handicap index. Please go to the website under League Info and click on handicap to get additional information.
At this point the league is full. We will have 8 teams in the White flight and 10 teams in the Green Flight.
