Important Note: THERE IS NO GOLF THIS COMING MONDAY JULY3rd.

I have never seen so many people looking at so many different weather radar apps. The worst part is everyone was showing something slightly different. No wonder the weather is wrong 50% of the time.

Even the GPS Monitor on the Golf carts. Some of our league members took this serious and went home. Others dealt with a little on and off again light rain for about 6 holes before it cleared up and the sun was shinning.

The pin positions on a few of the greens were absolutely deadly. I heard from several people that they 4 & 5 putted a couple of holes. This is probably why Matthews & Olivet dropped from 1st place to 3rd in the Green Flight.

The Birdie count dropped off this week versus last week. We were only able to get 10 Birdies this week. But to be fair, four less players were in the flight this week. Good shooting boys.

Overall the matches were very lopsided this week:

  • 3 Matches were 24-0 – Two of them were because two teams decided they were going to melt and went home before the match started.
  • 2 Matches were 23-1
  • 2 Matches were 21-3
  • 1 Match was 22-2
  • 1 Match was 19-5

We had 3 players beat their cap this week

  • Josh Lemcke shaved off 4 strokes
  • Phil Piendel knocked off 2 strokes
  • Some how Tom Kalvestran came in 1 stroke under his cap as well. Amazing!!

I look forward to seeing everyone on July 10th and we will be playing the front again because of the bye week due to the holiday.
